About the Role:

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teacher with a specialism in Maths to join a thriving school community in London. This full-time role starts in September 2024. The successful candidate will lead and enhance the teaching of Mathematics across the primary curriculum, fostering a love for the subject and ensuring high standards of learning and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality maths lessons to primary students.
  • Lead initiatives to improve maths teaching and learning across the school.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective maths curriculum plans.
  • Participate in school events, professional development, and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching maths at the primary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
