ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified Maths Teacher for a Secondary school in Wiltshire. You will be supporting KS3 & KS4 year groups, marking and planning required.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Wiltshire
  • Position - Maths Teacher
  • Start date - September 2024
  • Rate of pay - £155- £215
  • Duration / Likely Duration - Full-Time, temp to perm available for the right candidate (this decision will be down to the school not Prospero as an agency.)
  • Hours - 8:20 am - 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK (cannot accept sponsorship)
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application - please note Prospero do not cover the cost but will help in providing the link for application, the current cost of an enhanced DBS certificate is £45.40
  • Provide all references from the last two years, must have professional email address, if there are any employment gaps, we must be able to evidence this by obtaining independent evidence, or a character reference.
  • An overseas police check is required if you have lived outside of the UK for 6 months in the last 5 years.
