Job Title: Maths Teacher

Location: Bolton

Start Date: September 2024

Salary: £180-£230 per day (dependant on experience)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher with a proven track record in strong behaviour management? We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary School Maths Teacher to join an OFSTED rated 'Good' school in Bolton. This is a position starting September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

- Planning and preparing Maths lessons up to KS4 level.

- Utilize strong behaviour management strategies to ensure a conducive atmosphere for learning.

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal development.

- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

- Marking students' work promptly and providing detailed feedback.

- Set and manage homework assignments to reinforce classroom learning.

- Participate in parents' evenings and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.

- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the Science department and the school.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE in Secondary Education. Must specialise in Maths

- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or a willingness to obtain one before starting.
