Maths Teacher (open to unqualified) 
  • Location: Wellingborough
  • Salary: £150 - £250 per day
  • Job Type: Full-time, Contract

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Wellingborough from September 2024. This full-time role offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to inspire young minds.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, ensuring high levels of student interest and participation.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans and schemes of work in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Undertake marking and provide constructive feedback to facilitate student progress.
  • Collaborate with the Maths department to enhance the language curriculum and share best practices.
  • Participate in parent evenings, staff meetings, training sessions, and contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proficiency in teaching Maths.
  • Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and school-wide initiatives.
