Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum

Start Date: September 2024

As a Maths Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across various year groups. You will encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.

• Develop and deliver a comprehensive maths curriculum that meets national standards and stimulates student interest.
• Create engaging lesson plans that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
• Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for mathematics.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources, including technology, to enhance learning.
• Provide additional support to students who need extra help or advanced challenges.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and mathematics teaching techniques.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Maths Teacher, preferably in a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the mathematics curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment
