Maths Teacher - Temporary Position from 3rd September for 7 Weeks

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and qualified Maths Teacher for a temporary position starting 3rd September, initially for 7 weeks, at a thriving girls' school in Tower Hamlets.

About the School: This large, oversubscribed 11-18 girls' school, located in the heart of East London, is known for its vibrant atmosphere and strong community spirit. The school has a track record of academic excellence and is committed to nurturing students both academically and emotionally. Role Overview:

  • Position: Temporary Maths Teacher
  • Location: Tower Hamlets
  • Start Date: 3rd September
  • Duration: Initially 7 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated Maths curriculum for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Monitor and support students' progress as a teacher and form tutor.
  • Contribute to the development of the Maths Faculty and the wider school community.
  • Set high expectations for student behavior and academic performance.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree-level knowledge in Maths and the ability to teach across all Key Stages.
  • Strong understanding of current educational practices and issues.
  • Ability to employ diverse teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Commitment to raising student achievement and supporting their personal and academic growth.
