Job Title: Mechanical Customer Care Engineer
Location: Based in Kent - Covering London, Greater London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Start Date: ASAP

Overview:

On behalf of a well-established M&E contractor based in Kent, I'm looking for a reliable and experienced Mechanical Customer Care Engineer to join their team. The role involves covering sites across London, Greater London, and surrounding areas, focusing on aftercare and service support for residential and commercial projects.

This is a great opportunity to join a family-run business with a solid reputation for quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

*Diagnose and repair plumbing and heating issues reported by end users.
*Attend emergency callouts when required.
*Complete clear and detailed resolution reports following site visits.
*Support with commissioning and testing during project handover.
*Assist with snagging tasks as identified by Project Engineers.
*Provide ongoing feedback to Project Managers to prevent recurring issues.

Requirements:

*Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical services (plumbing/heating).
*NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing/Heating.
*Valid CSCS or Skill Card.
*Full UK Driving Licence.
*Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
*Professional appearance with excellent customer communication.
*Able to work independently and show initiative on site.
