Our client, a leading aerospace company, is currently recruiting experienced Design and Certification Engineers to join their growing Capability Development team. In this role, you will be part of their UK CAA Part 21J Design Organisation, working on aircraft and mission system modification programmes. This is a permanent position within the company.

Job Requirements


Essential:

  • Extensive knowledge of specialist areas such as structures, mission systems, or avionics
  • Experience in design and integration of complex projects on aircraft under civil or military airworthiness regulations
  • Proficiency in the generation of design data packages


Desirable:

  • Experience working on King Air, Piper PA-31, 727, 757 aircraft
Certification Requirements


Essential:

  • Detailed knowledge of Part 21, CS/FAR 23 and 25
  • Ability to compile, technically check, and verify compliance of certification programs and documentation
  • Experience in verification or checking of electrical load analysis, equipment assessments, EWIS and EZAP analysis, Electromagnetic and Ground Function Test Plans and Reports (or structural substantiations, weight and balance reports, or system safety assessments and functional hazard assessments)


Desirable:

  • Understanding of DAOS
  • Knowledge of AS9100
