Are you an experienced Design Engineer? If so, our client, an engineering company, are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience within the engineering and manufacturing sector, to work on their site in Stonehouse. 

Position – Mechanical Design Engineer   
Contract Type - Permanent
Location – Stonehouse

Responsibilities – Mechanical Design Engineer 
  • Responsible for using 3D CAD to create detailed drawings and models for both new and existing components and products.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to discuss queries and progress of design projects.
  • Ensure designs comply with company and customer standards and specifications.
  • Create and check bill of material documentation.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Required – Mechanical Design Engineer
  • Experience with design for manufacture/assembly.
  • Recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Have a good understanding of various metals and how they are applied in designs.
  • Experience with geometrical design and tolerancing.
