Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a great client of ours with their search for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support business growth.

Key Duties:

  • Assist in the design and development of fuel pumping systems, assemblies, and components.
  • Generate 3D CAD models.
  • Generate 2D drawings for clients, fabrication, and installation.
  • Support workshop fabrication/assembly as a designer.
  • Support on-site installation works of pumping systems.
  • Contribute design input for the tender team.
  • Produce flowrate and pressure drop calculations.
  • Assist with equipment selection and specification for procurement.
  • Assist with procurement of components and organising materials delivery to site.
  • Participate in client meetings including HAZOP studies.
  • Contribute to pump controls system design.
  • Occasional travel to client sites required.

Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification.
  • Experience in similar role.
  • AutoCAD.
  • Revit.
  • Other CAD experience welcomed but must be willing to learn and work with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Possession of valid UK driving licence.

The Package:

  • 30,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
  • Monday-Friday 37.5 hrs per week.
  • Pension scheme.
