Our client based in Tyne & Wear are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

Job description:

  • Working on small precision assemblies.
  • Documentation of assemblies.
  • Installation within client sites when required.
  • Cutting metal to specific measurements and re assembling to create bespoke products.
  • Laying magnetic tape.
  • Working with drills, cutting and grinding machinery.

Person specification:

  • Must be a time served Mechanical Fitter.
  • Valid CSCS is desirable but not essential.
  • Must be able to work from Schematic drawings.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Must have a full UK driving license and own transport.

Working hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8.00am to 16.15pm
  • Friday 8.00am - 14.00pm
  • Overtime may be available.
