Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in Old Kilpatrick.

Hours: Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 5.15pm

Hourly Rate: £20.27, OT 1.5x (usually worked on Friday)

Daily Duties –

  • Mechanical assembly of lapping, polishing and cutting equipment
  • Reading technical drawings and schematics to undertake tasks
  • Electrical assembly e.g. panel wiring, programming PLC or hardware

Candidate Requirements –

  • Time served with mechanical discipline
  • Experience of assembling electro-mechanical equipment
  • Can use manual machines and hand tools during build process
