Mechanical Fitter

We are working with a reputable client based in Bedford (MK42) who require a professional Mechanical Fitter.

The position is a permanent role paying up to £18.50 p/h + Benefits.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday - 7.00am - 3.30pm
Overtime Pay - Time and a half

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with mechanical equipment.You will be required to read and understand general arrangement drawings to deliver mechanical services on defined projects.The role will require you to work in the workshop or on site when neccesary· In this role you will report directly to the Workshop manager/Project Engineer but will take instructions from a Team Leader when working on site or specific projects· The right candidate will be proactive and able to work using their own initiative.

Accreditations

• Full valid UK driving licence (or equivalent) - essential
• Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme [CSCS] card - (preferable)
• Valid National Water Hygiene card -o EUSR (preferable but not essential)
• Confined Space - Level 2 City & Guilds (preferable but not essential)
• Forklift Licence (preferable) · PASMA (preferable but not essential)
• @One Safety Passport - (preferable but not essential)
• Thames Water Passport - (preferable but not essential)
• First Aid Trainer (Not Essential)
