Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join their Assembly team. This temporary to Permanent contract offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an organisation known for its excellence in the design, fabrication, assembly, and testing of integrated solutions including metering, pressure reduction, and boiler supply systems. The role is practical and hands-on, requiring experience with hand tools and appropriate levels of fitness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of threaded pipework
  • Mechanical fit-up of welded pipework
  • Reviewing engineering assembly and fabrication drawings to complete the assembly
  • Pressure testing
  • Inspection and quality checks
  • Packaging of completed product
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in mechanical fitting
  • Proficiency in using hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good levels of physical fitness
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
Contract Details:
  • Temp to Perm position
  • Full support and training provided
  • Working hours: 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday
  • 30-minute lunch break plus morning and afternoon breaks
