Mechanical Fitter Position Overview

My client a renowned specialist in the repair, rewind, and reclamation of electric motors, pumps, and generators currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter at their Ipswich Service Centre.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform repairs on AC & DC motors with precision and expertise.
• Conduct meticulous repairs on pumps and gearboxes, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Undertake generator repairs and overhauls to meet the highest industry standards.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address client issues effectively.
• Execute duties with meticulous attention to detail

Mechanical Fitter Position Requirements

• Possess a solid technical background in electro/mechanical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of condition monitoring is advantageous.
• Completion of overhead crane operating training.
• Possession of a forklift truck licence would be beneficial.

Mechanical Fitter Position Remuneration

• Salary up to £16.50 p/h
• Enjoy 33 days of holiday with service days
• Day shift, Mon - Fri, 37 Hours per week
