Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting new role for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based in Dudley, West Midlands. The permanent Maintenance Engineer role comes with a basic annual salary of £36,000 per annum, with regular overtime opportunities available that are paid at premium rate to enable you to increase your earnings opportunity.

Please be advised that this job is working a 3-shift rotation system that will involve working one week of mornings, one week of afternoons and one week of nights.

This role would be ideal for someone who has some limited Mechanical Maintenance experience that would like to develop their skill set and experience further.

You will be working in a small team of 3 responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance tasks, as well as being reactive to plant breakdowns and repairs. 

Some of your primary responsibilities as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will include:

• Carrying out preventative maintenance tasks on various equipment and machinery
• Reacting to plant breakdowns and repairs
• Working in accordance with the company’s health & safety guidelines
• Experience with slitting/decoiling would be advantageous
