DCT Recruitment are looking for an experienced Mechanical QAQC Inspector to join our team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical installations and machinery to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor and document the installation process, ensuring adherence to quality plans and procedures.
• Identify and report non-conformities, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with project engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all quality control activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of QA/QC procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical QA/QC Inspector, specifically in machinery installation.
• In-depth knowledge of QA/QC standards, codes, and regulations.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in QA/QC or related fields is a plus.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Valid equivalent CSCS Card.
