Location: Enfield

Hours: 5 days per week

Duration: Term time only

Remedy Education are looking for an inspired SEN media teacher to teach computing and creative media in an excellent SEN college in Enfield. The school intend on ensuring the right member of staff comes in and makes the lessons fun and engaging for the students.

The lovely college are seeking an experienced media teacher that is open to learning and adapting to a new way of teaching and potentially a new subject. This role does not require a specialist qualification, just a media teacher that is passionate about what they do, with an interest of adapting their skills.

Responsibilities for a media teacher:

  • To deliver and assess levels 1-3 in Media to the BTEC and UAL
  • To overcome barriers to learning
  • To create and maintain accurate records on learner's progress
  • You will be working with students aged 16+
  • Effective curriculum and lesson planning which meets individual needs is essential

Requirements of a media teacher:

  • Teacher qualification - QTS, PGCE
  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • A relevant Media qualification to level 4 or above
  • Relevant experience teaching in a post 16 education setting
