Aspion are recruiting for a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care and efficient healthcare services. Thierr facility in Preston is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Medical Records Summariser to join their team immediately.

Job Description:

As a Medical Records Summariser, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare team by ensuring that patient records are accurately summarized and updated. This position involves working closely with medical professionals to provide comprehensive and precise summaries of patient medical histories, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and summarize patient medical records accurately and efficiently.
  • Extract and record relevant information from various medical documents.
  • Ensure all medical summaries are clear, concise, and adhere to clinical standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with data protection regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and complete medical documentation.
  • Update electronic health records (EHR) systems with summarized data.
  • Assist in auditing and quality control processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff to clarify information as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in medical record summarization or a similar role in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality regulations in healthcare.

This is a full time temporary role for the next couple of months.

Monday to Friday 37.5 hour per week
