Medical Secretary
We are assisting our client with their search for a Medical Secretary who can provide essential administrative and secretarial support within a medical office, department, or practice. Your responsibilities will include handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining an organised filing system.
Duties and Responsibilities-
Patient Coordination:
- Organising the daily patient list and managing relevant files.
- Handling appointment scheduling and reminders.

Office Management:
- Ordering office supplies and overseeing equipment maintenance.
- Organising meetings and recording minutes.

Patient Communication:
- Responding to patient queries and providing assistance.
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Administrative Tasks:
- Typing letters, clinical reports, and transcriptions.
- Updating databases and spreadsheets.

Confidentiality:
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of personal and financial data.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in medical software systems.
- Location: Weybridge
- Requirements:
- Recent medical secretarial experience.
- Typing and word processing skills (RSA level 2).
- Audio typing experience.
- GCSE English grade C or equivalent.
