This is truly one of our favourite clients who sell a very popular product that is even in more demand over the Festive Season! They have been established for over 150 years, and are passionate about the products they offer to their members (customers). This increase in business in the lead up to Christmas, is the reason, they need to recruit extra members of staff within their Member Services team just to deal with the sheer volume of orders coming in.

As part of the Member Services team, you will be the first point of contact for members, dealing with their orders and enquiries via the telephone, Live Chat or Ignite email system, providing a positive customer service experience.

Main duties:

  • Sales order processing and helping members with product selection
  • Demonstrating awareness and knowledge of current products and services
  • Handling enquiries and processing applications from new/potential members
  • Dealing with enquiries including delivery, accounts and stock issues
  • Handling amendments of subscription schemes

Experience

  • Strong IT skills as everything is computerised
  • Extremely customer focused
  • Someone who will go above and beyond to give the perfect customer experience
  • A good communicator with an excellent telephone manner
  • Good attention to detail
  • Motivated and enthusiastic
  • Good listener & excellent communicator
  • Someone who likes working in a team environment
  • Previous Customer Service or Order Processing experience an advantage

Pay, Bonus & Benefits

  • The annual salary is £24859
  • Subsidised staff restaurant
  • Pension
  • The contract will end on Saturday 24th December

Start Dates and Shifts

Initially the hours are 37.5 per week worked between 9.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Saturday.

Nearer to Christmas the shifts will be Monday to Friday 9.00am to 9.00pm, Saturday 9.00am to 5.00pm and Sunday 11.00am to 5.00pm

Flexibility is key here. However, you are given your shifts two weeks in advance, and do have the option of swapping with other team members if necessary
