We are now looking for a Membership Development Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be based in the South of England, with the flexibility to travel within the region and across the UK as required.

The Role

As a Membership Development Manager, you will lead engagement and growth initiatives across key sectors to increase membership and professional registration.

Specifically, you will guide engineers through their membership and professional registration journey, supporting their transition from military to civilian roles or advancement within their chosen sector.

Beyond this, you will support our strategic goals by developing and executing sector-specific initiatives, representing us at key events, and working with internal teams to deliver impactful engagement activities.

Additionally, you will:

- Establish relationships with the MOD, RAF, Royal Navy, and Army
- Contribute to marketing efforts and case studies to enhance outreach
- Track trends and provide recommendations for improvement
- Identify new partnership opportunities aligned with sector priorities

Person Specification

To be considered as a Membership Development Manager, you will need:

- Proven experience in membership development, business development, or industry engagement
- A demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs
- Strong ability to influence, advise, and coach individuals and organisations
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- Confident presentation skills, including experience speaking at industry events and workshops
- Strategic thinking with the ability to adapt to industry and military-specific needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- A current driving licence and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays

Salary and Benefits

- Salary of £43,000 - £47,000 per annum, depending on experience
