Membership Sales Consultant

Contract: Full time, Permanent (40hrs includes weekends/varying shift pattern)

Salary: £27,000 per annum plus commission

Our client, an independent, not-for-profit health club nestled in the heart of Thames Ditton, are looking to recruit a Membership Sales Consultant. Their state-of-the-art facilities include a 25m pool, fully equipped gym, squash courts, nursery and junior provisions.

As their Membership Sales Consultant your key objectives would be:

  • To increase the number of new members on a month-by-month basis.
  • To increase the overall number of members through retention.
  • To meet sales and retention KPI’s collectively through teamwork.
  • To deliver an excellent customer experience every time.
  • To enhance an already very successful team.

Key tasks would include:

  • To develop and implement campaigns to recruit new members.
  • To tour and sign-up new members.
  • To utilize EZ-Runner to identify and contact web/phone/walk-in enquiries.
  • To be able to run reports in software with complete accuracy.
  • To run reports to identify new joiners for all vital info including source.
  • Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to member concerns.
  • Come up with ideas to enhance member journey and ways to communicate with members.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have/be:

  • Previous industry experience in fitness and sales.
  • Great communication skills, spoken as well as written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft.
  • Great work ethic and able to work to deadlines and targets.
  • Motivated and motivational.
  • Team player but also be able to work autonomously.
