ROLE- Merchandiser

LOCATION- London

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £35,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience

My client is a specialist product designer and manufacturer. They are looking for a Merchandiser to join their team in London on a permanent basis.

The Merchandiser will ideally have the following attributes:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Merchandising or a similar role
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be ideal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other related software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Highly driven with the ability to work independently


The Merchandiser role will involve:

  • Collaborating with the merchandising team to assist in the development and execution of strategic merchandising plans
  • Raising purchase orders, forecasting, stock replenishment
  • Reviewing samples and raising purchase orders
  • Assisting in stock ordering and inventory management to ensure optimal product availability
  • Supporting the manufacturing process by liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery
  • Monitoring and analysing sales and inventory data to identify trends and make informed merchandising decisions
  • Assisting in developing forecasts and budgets
  • Communicating and coordinating with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and logistics
