Talent Guardian is partnering with a client, in the retail sector who liaise with Leisure centres, Garden Centres, and gifting markets. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional service.

The sales team represents the company, supported by outstanding customer service, product ranging, and distribution teams. The company culture is open, friendly, and hardworking.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Service existing customers in your defined territory by directly selling, placing orders via a portal, and placing products from defined ranges.
  • Liaise with head office by submitting daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain records on area and customer sales.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Strong customer service and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to meet sales goals with effective territory management.
  • Proficiency in closing sales and prospecting new clients.
  • Strong negotiation skills and self-confidence.
  • Hands-on merchandising experience and motivation for sales.
Experience Requirements:
  • Previous experience in FMCC or Garden Centre marketplaces is preferred, but full training will be provided.
  • Clean driving license.
  • Willingness to engage in merchandising activities, which may involve lifting products in-store.
