Metal Fabricator / Site Fitter (Architectural Metalwork)

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £35k + Excellent Benefits

Full-Time,Permanent, Monday - Friday (40 hours)

The Client:

Our client is a well-established manufacturing firm, offering outstanding design and production services for architectural metalwork such as staircases and balconies.

The Role:

As a Metal Fabricator, you will be installing architectural metalwork in various projects including staircases, steelwork and balustrades.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site tasks such as welding, erection, and installation.
• Coordinate internally for project coordination and efficiency.
• Travel nationwide in company vans to customer locations for architectural metalwork installations.
• Weld on-site according to company procedures and coding standards.
• Commute and stay overnight as necessary for project obligations
• Adhere to RAMS, company-set deadlines and project schedules.
• Complete all tasks with meticulous attention to detail and professionalism.
• Follow Quality Management System (QMS) procedures to maintain consistent quality standards in alignment with ISO 9001:2015

Requirements:

• Previously worked as a Fabricator or in a similar role.
• At least 5 years' experience in the fabrication industry.
• Apprentice trained, time-served fabricator
• Ideally have experience in MIG and TIG welding.
• Skilled in reading and understanding CAD drawings.
• Experience in using overhead cranes, guillotines, press brakes, radial arm drills, band saws, and punches (beneficial)
