Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Meter Technician on a 12 week temporary basis.
Details:
- Meter Technician
- £14.27 per hour
- Fakenham/Snettisham/Well-next-the-sea (you must live within 30 minutes of these locations)
- 37 hours per week, between the hours of 6:30am - 20:00pm
- Monday – Saturday
- Initially a 12 week temporary contract to then be reviewed
The Role:
As a Meter Technician you will manage your own workload, so will feel like you are your own boss with the support of a big organisation behind you.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Obtain accurate readings from water meters
- Carry out meter exchanges – (Full training will be provided)
- Collect meter data
- Lastly and most importantly provide excellent customer service
Your Skills:
- Experience in retail, hospitality or previous experience being on your feet for long periods
- Customer focussed individuals
- A professional image is very important - you will be provided with a uniform and a van
- The role can be physically demanding, and you can walk in the region of 3 to 8 miles per day.
- You will also use a hand held computer to carry out your work, so basic IT skills are required
