MFL Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Harrow, Secondary School

Salary: £90 to £100 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Full-time, Long Term

Working Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Are you a recent Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) graduate seeking an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in education? We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated MFL Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a well-respected Secondary School in Harrow. This position is offered through our education agency, representing the school in the hiring process.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the MFL department in delivering engaging and effective language lessons.
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation of teaching materials.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to enhance language skills.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and tailor support accordingly.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
  • Strong communication and language skills in the relevant MFL subjects.
  • Enthusiastic about education and supporting students' language development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous but not essential.
