Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic MFL Teacher who is experienced in teaching French and Spanish to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be passionate about languages and have the ability to engage students of all abilities to achieve their potential. The role is initially on a long-term supply basis, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in French and Spanish to KS3 and KS4 students.

• Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.

• Support students in developing their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in both French and Spanish.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.

• Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the MFL department’s curriculum and teaching strategies.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Proven experience teaching French and Spanish at KS3 and KS4.

• Strong subject knowledge in both French and Spanish.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

• Passion for languages and inspiring students.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
