Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time MFL Teacher specialising in French to work at a school in Hull. This is to start 2nd September 2024 and will last until at least Christmas 2024. This is a role to cover a vacant position, so there will be the potential for a permanent role at the end of the placement, if the candidate enjoys the role and is interested in permanent roles. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale (M1 to UPS3), and in a daily rate will be between £153.85 to £238.59. There is a full time position available for this role, and a part time position available (0.6/3 days) so full and part time candidates are encouraged to apply for this role.

This role will involve teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students French. This will involve teaching some GCSE French. All planning and marking associated with a teaching role will be expected in this role, but there is a large amount of resources available on the shared system that will be available for the successful candidate. Payment will be in line with the main teaching pay scale, from M1 - UPS 3.

This school is located in Hull and has a large onsite car park for those candidates that do drive. It is available via public transport for candidates without access to a car. It is part of a large academy trust and the shared resources on site are fantastic, meaning planning for this position will be minimal. ECTs are encouraged to apply for this role, and there is the opportunity to complete a term of the ECT during this position. As part of a small academy trust there is a large bank of resources on file for candidates, meaning planning is minimal for this role.

Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

• Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience working within schools in the UK.
• Has experience teaching MFL to at least KS4 students
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the full CV History
• Legal right to work in the UK
