Our client, a well-established life and pensions company is currently open for a great opportunity for the right candidate to take the reins as a MI Analyst. This role will be best suited for the candidate with a high degree of knowledge in the pension industry and has experience working with Power BI/Tableau.

You will be a crucial part of delivering insight that supports evidence-based decision making across the business and identifying areas of failure demand and inefficiency.

The role is based in Edinburgh and will be on a hybrid working pattern - with the usual split being 2 - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

You'll be:

  • Ensure reporting and analysis is value adding and tells a story to drive continuous improvement across Managing and testing the critical and complex areas requiring senior attention.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements to existing processes from data infrastructure design to developing integrated automated dashboards for the business as a whole right up to Exec level.
  • the successful candidate will be instrumental with the design, scoping, documentation and delivery of this project.
  • Managing key stakeholders and workload prioritisation

Key Skills

  • Excellent working knowledge of the Life and Pension industry
  • Experience with Power BI/Tableau
  • Knowledge of building dashboards from start to finish
  • Strong communication skills, as will be working with internal and external stakeholders due to the nature of the role
