As a Microbiologist Technician, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining product safety and quality. Here are your key responsibilities:

  • Bioburden Sampling:
    Request Bioburden samples according to the sampling plan and efficiently book them in for analysis.
  • Bioburden Validation:
    Conduct Bioburden validation for New Product Development, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Sterility and Fertility Testing:
    Perform sterility and fertility testing on prepared media, contributing to product safety assessments.
  • Validation Protocols:
    Prepare and execute validation protocols and reports as needed, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Quality Advocacy:
    Uphold Quality and Microbiology requirements within production and other departments, promoting best practices.
  • Microorganism Identification:
    Utilize techniques such as Gram staining, microscopy, and biochemical tests to identify and enumerate microorganisms.
