Our client is an industry leading scientific organisation that specialises in the food and drink sector and is looking for a talented individual to join them as their Microscopy Team Manager.

As the Microscopy Team Manager, your duties will include directing and guiding the Microscopy team as well as the development of new microscopy services. Your responsibilities will also include planning, reviewing and approving projects within the Microscopy Section before being submitted to clients. Additionally, you will manage the team, offering support and development training to junior staff.

Candidates are encouraged to reply who have:

• BSc (minimum) Scientific degree

• Proficient in the use of relevant microscopy techniques and methods including (stereo, compound and scanning electron) and FT-IR spectroscopy

• Experience liaising directly with clients is desirable

• Ability to interpret and analyse data to produce reports

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
