Mig / Tig Welder

Job title - Mig / Tig Welder
Location - Devizes (on-site)
Hourly rate - £13.00 - £14.50 p/h
Hours - 37 hours a week Monday to Friday

My client is looking to recruit additional skilled Welders to their production team due to new contract wins to the business. Within the role of Welder, your main function will be the fabrication of products to the client's specifications ensuring product quality at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Read technical drawings and measurements to fabricate accurate parts.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications, utilising appropriate tools and jigs.
• Maintain welding equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Produce batches of components, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with the Production Manager, fabrication team, and assembly team.

Required Experience:

• MIG/TIG welding skills within a production environment.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect own work.
