Position Overview: As a MIG Welder specializing in chassis fabrication, you will be responsible for welding and assembling various chassis components. Your role will involve interpreting technical drawings and ensuring that all welds meet our stringent quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a thorough understanding of welding techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding to assemble chassis components according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure all welds meet industry standards for strength, quality, and appearance.
  • Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality standards and perform any necessary repairs.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder, specifically in chassis or automotive fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding techniques, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Welding certification (preferred but not required).
