JE126 - Minibus Driver 

Location: Chipping Sodbury, Bristol 

Salary: Part time - £14 an hour - Full time - £29,400 Per annum 

Overview: 

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Minibus Driver on behalf of one of our clients. 

This role will typically involve driving on a school contract over 38 weeks. Hours are 0700 - 0930 & 1430 – 1700. 

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Safely operate fleet of executive minibuses.  
  • Ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs for all clients, never compromising on punctuality.  
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, always maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour.  
  • Build instant rapport with clients, making every journey memorable.  
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety.  
  • Keep the vehicle pristine, well-maintained, and ready for every journey.  
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, embodying our commitment to safety and professionalism.  


Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Valid UK driving licence.  
  • Clean driving licence preferable (6 points max).  
  • D1 category licence (without 101 restriction).  
  • CPC holder. 
  • Digi card holder.  
  • Enhances DBS.  
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Strong knowledge of Bristol and surrounding areas is preferred.  
  • Punctual, reliable, well-presented and well-mannered.  
  • Ability to handle unexpected situations with calmness and efficiency.  
  • Will consider under 25’s.
