Mixed Tax Supervisor required to join a leading chartered Accountants & Tax Advisers firm with 19 Principals and a team of over 250 professionals, we have established ourselves as a key player in the region. Key Responsibilities:

To support our Watford team and contribute to our firm's growth, your duties will involve:

  • Preparing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations.
  • Reviewing tax returns prepared by colleagues.
  • Assisting with various tax filings throughout the year, including P11Ds, PSAs, ATED, Form 42, and EMI40 returns.
  • Communicating with clients to resolve queries and handle HMRC submissions.
  • Managing a client portfolio to ensure timely payments and filings.
  • Drafting responses to HMRC correspondence and inquiries.
  • Providing advice on tax planning issues such as capital allowances, HMRC clearances, R&D claims, share schemes, and SEIS/EIS investments, under the guidance of Tax Managers and Principals.

Qualifications:

  • ATT, ACCA, or ACA qualification.
  • More than 5 years of tax experience in practice.
  • Part-qualified CTA or willing to pursue the CTA qualification (training support provided).
  • Strong IT and technical skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Employment Details and Benefits:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexible working options (office and home).
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.

  • Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to one week’s salary.
