Reed Education/The Lancashire Teaching Agency are working with a Ofsted rated "Good" Primary school in the Wyre area PR3 in search of a mixed Year 5/Year 6 Teacher for the summer term.

Job description:  

  • Daily Rate: £110 to £140 per day (Dependant on experience)
  • Location: Wyre, PR3 
  • Summer 2025 Start date. 

Reed/ Lancashire teaching agency are seeking a mixed Year 5/Year 6 Teacher for a temporary position Summer 2025 and is expected to last until the end of the academic year! This role is also open to Early Years Career Teacher.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for Year 5 students.
  • Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for end-of-year expectations.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at the primary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
