Mobile Gas Engineer - Glasgow and surrounding areas (Postcodes G, KA, PA, ML)

We are looking for a Gas Engineer with experience within HVAC and commercial plant, to work for high street retailers & banking clients across Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance and completing the appropriate paperwork and reports, you will ensure all statutory and mandatory tasks are completed within the required timescales, ensuring all certification is correctly completed and remedial works clearly identified. You will also need to carry out reactive and emergency tasks and are expected to complete all tasks using handheld technology effectively.

Also monitoring visiting sub-contractors with regards to standard of work and Health and Safety and issue appropriate Permits, controlling small works and escort duties as required.

Package and Benefits:

Hours: Monday - Friday 0730-1630 with some flexibility due to workloads.

Salary: The salary is based between £36,000 £46,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

Overtime is also available at 1.5x Monday - Friday and Double time on Saturday and Sunday.

Relevant qualifications required as per below:

• COCN1 or CODNCO1 (CCN1).
• TPCP1 & TPCP1A.
• FGAS and ODS essential.
• HWSS - Vented & Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems essential.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces as well as a willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
