Mobile Recycling Operative

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HRC recycling operative to cover 9 sites around the Cambridge area

• This will be a Monday to Sunday role, however covering 5 days in a 7-day period (09:30 - 16:30)
• Full PPE and training will be provided
• This will be on a 4 months contract, paying £12ph
• The workers will need to have access to their own vehicle and the client will pay for the mileage.

Main Responsibilities:

The role will involve assisting members of the public visiting the HRC to sort, recycle and dispose of materials and to ensure that the site runs efficiently. The successful applicant may be required to work at other HRC sites. Candidates must have a full driving license and have access to a motor vehicle.

What you need to succeed:

• We require good, reliable operatives who are available to start asap who are aware of the physical demands of this role
• Working in all weather conditions.
• They will need to understand that they could be one site one day then another site the next day, and therefore cannot refused travel to any site which they have been requested to cover.

It is essential that candidates are physically fit to undertake basic manual handling activities, able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and an effective team player with basic administration skills
