About The Role
Overall, Purpose of the Role:

To create and maintain a quality standard on the Contract sites in order that the Agreed Specification / Service Level Agreements and other various Trust Policies and Procedures are carried out. Ensure good personal appearance and hygiene, including uniform, are of the highest standards at all times in line with our company policy. To provide the various University staff, Visitors and Contractors a safe & friendly environment to work. Prevent unauthorised entry of persons not permitted on site and prevent unauthorised removal of equipment by protecting the University assets.

You will be working on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, nights and days, 42 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Ensure you have full knowledge of all the sites assignments instructions which must be adhered to.
  • Point of contact for all Officers, including University staff, visitors and contractors who come to site.
  • Visit each of the 14 UAL sites across London once per shift.

Details of the Role:

  • To maintain an excellent level of security cover and to effectively respond to reports of incidents.
  • To Update Time gate system with Officers working hours and update Roster.
  • To complete Timesheets and associated paperwork for payroll Purposes.
  • To carry out Security Officers welfare 1 to 1 Forms Monthly.
  • To carry out security audits Monthly.

Requirements:

  • To have completed secondary education with sound knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Security Industry Authority Licence (DS & CCTV) & First Aid Certificate.
  • Previous experience within the Security Industry is desirable.
  • Ability to follow policy and procedures.
  • Willingness to bring concerns to corporate attention via prescribed channels.
