Our busy client is looking for a committed and passionate mobile service engineer to join their intimate, hard-working service team on a permanent basis.

Job Description:

  • Compliance inspections of lifting equipment - mechanical and electrical.

  • LOLER inspections of equipment and loose rigging.

  • Servicing and routine PPM of theatre equipment (lifts and cranes) including hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.

  • Fault diagnosis and minor electrical repairs following schematics to assist manufacturing with root cause analysis.

  • Completing all administrative tasks correctly.

Hours:

8am - 4:30pm contracted (these are fluid, so the right candidate needs to be flexible).
30-minute lunch break.
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK AWAY FROM HOME.
In busy summer months these average 4 days a week, in the quieter wintertime this averages 1-2 days a week.

Salary:

£15.90 - starting with mechanical experience and SOME electrical.
£16.90 - mechanical and electrical experience - able to do all aspects of the jobs unsupervised.
£17.90 - after establishing team leading responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years maintaining mechanical and electrical systems through regular servicing, preferred experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Clean valid UK driving license.

  • Your own hand tools - more specific tools will be supplied.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
