Reed Talent Solutions are currently working with a Warrington based Utilities provider to recruit a Mobile Site Meter Operative working with the Data Resolution Technician Team on an initial six-month contract.

The post-holder will co-ordinate their own workload, ensuring sufficient jobs are carried out whilst adhering to Health and Safety guidelines. Completing effective site visits within guaranteed timescales and ensuring all reports provide full information, including maps/drawings, to ensure retailers are billed correctly.

Role Information

  • 6 month contract with potential to extend
  • Location : Great Sankey, Warrington
  • Pay Rate: £17.23 per hour (£33,600 salary equivalent)
  • This role will involve driving between locations, all relevant expenses will be refunded


Key Responsibilities

  • Verification of water supply arrangements - confirming which supplies and associated meters serve which premises
  • Verification of meter details / location
  • Gap Site investigations
  • Occupancy verification
  • Investigate what services are being delivered
  • Property boundary drawing
  • Connectivity for water and/or sewerage services
  • Obtain meter reads


Essential Criteria

  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office applications
  • Self-motivated and able to focus on delivering to tight targets and timescales.
  • Ability to carry out potentially complex on-site technical investigations to resolve queries.
  • Must have the ability to work alone and alongside colleagues
  • Customer Service
  • A full driving licence/own car is essential
