Mobile Vending Operator (x2)
Salary: - £12.21 to £12.60 per hour
Location: East Kilbride & Rutherglen
Hours: Mon to Fri 06:00 – 1530
Job Type: Temporary (Opportunity to go permanent after 12 weeks)
Reed Recruitment is excited to offer an opportunity on behalf of our client for Mobile Vending Operators in the East Kilbride & Rutherglen. This role is perfect for someone with a proactive work ethic, delivery experience, and a customer-focused attitude. The position involves heavy lifting and the management of vending machine stock, offering a competitive salary and the potential for overtime.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Travelling to various client sites to collect readings, refill, and merchandise vending machines, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Performing physical tasks, including lifting, and transporting stock from the van to vending machines.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of vending machines.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving client issues promptly.
- Efficient route planning to optimise daily tasks and client satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must possess a driving licence (Category B) and have substantial van driving experience. (Max 3 penalty points)
- Previous Van delivery driving experience is essential (3.5T LWB)
- Experience in stock handling and vending machine re-stocking is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
- Good numeracy skills for managing financial transactions.
