Mortgage Administrator (12 month FTC initially)

Recruiting on behalf of a growing company based in the vibrant city of Chester, who are seeking a Mortgage Administrator to join their team on an initial 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity. They are seeking a meticulous and proactive Mortgage Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the administration of bridging finance loans, ensuring smooth and efficient processes from application to completion.

About the Role

Title: Mortgage Administrator (initially 12 month FTC)

Location: Chester (fully office based)

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum plus annual bonus

Hours: Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process mortgage applications, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors, and surveyors to facilitate timely and efficient loan processing.
  • Maintain and update client records and loan documentation in our database.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Support the team in various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in mortgage administration or a similar role within the finance sector.
  • Strong understanding of bridging finance loans and property development finance.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with mortgage processing software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
