BDM Recruitment is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Mortgage Paraplanner or Mortgage Administrator to join a well-respected independent financial advisory firm in Hailsham. About the Role:

This is a unique chance to join a thriving financial advisory firm based in Hailsham. We are seeking a highly motivated Mortgage Paraplanner or Mortgage Administrator to seamlessly integrate into our team. Having a strong track record in the mortgage industry is essential. We've enjoyed a successful partnership with this client for over 20 years, and we're confident the right candidate will find a rewarding and supportive environment here.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the senior mortgage advisor, analysing completed fact finds and sourcing suitable lenders and mortgage products for clients in Hailsham.
  • Utilise the company's pre-populated software to efficiently generate detailed "reason why" letters and suitability reports.
  • Manage every aspect of the mortgage application process for Hailsham clients, including submission, chasing involved parties, and acting as the first point of contact.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant client records using the company's Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) to ensure smooth operations in Hailsham.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Mortgage Administrator or Mortgage Paraplanner.
  • In-depth knowledge of the mortgage market and current regulations, particularly those relevant to the Hailsham area.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively liaise with clients, lenders, and solicitors in and around Hailsham.
  • Proficiency in using advanced mortgage software and CRM systems.
  • Full CeMAP qualification is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must reside within an easy commute of Hailsham.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of up to £35,000 basic, plus pension, life assurance, and bonuses with an On-Target Earnings potential of £37,000.
