The company:

Our client is a highly respected Whole of Market brokerage with 25 years experience. Head-quartered in London, they are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mortgage Adviser to help manage their client base across the South West, ideally based in Bristol or Bath. This is a hybrid opportunity that provides access to a strong and continuously expanding book of business and the opportunity to earn consistently high levels of commission. A truly unique opportunity to join a market leader within the high value mortgage market.

Our client specialises in the HNW / Mass Affluent market and is seeking someone they can trust to manage this calibre of business, converting a substantial number of leads from partner estate agencies. With guaranteed business the earning potential is significant. This position would suit ambitious individuals intent on providing exceptional 5* service to their clients.

Who we’re looking for:

  • The ideal candidate will be a proven, fully qualified Mortgage Adviser with some experience in the HNW market.
  • You will be ambitious to take your career to the next level by partnering with an established company.
  • A strong knowledge of mortgage products and the lending market is essential.
  • Along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will need to be a self-starter, confident in working independently from home and managing a significant client book.
  • You must be passionate about the industry with a commitment to staying on top of the most current market trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with existing clients to discuss their mortgage needs and financial goals
  • Business Development and handling with new business enquiries
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on mortgage options, rates, and terms
  • Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation
  • Evaluate client creditworthiness and financial information to determine loan eligibility
  • Collaborate with lenders and underwriters to ensure timely processing and approval of mortgage applications
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in mortgage products and programs
  • Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage process
  • Commitment to continued professional development

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a fully qualified Mortgage Adviser.
  • Demonstrable business development skills
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, programs, and lending guidelines
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit evaluation, and risk assessment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client files simultaneously
  • Proficient in mortgage software systems and MS Office Suite
