About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced mortgage advisor or mortgage broker to join our client in their busy Basildon office. You will be responsible for providing mortgage and protection advice to clients, dealing with mortgages up to £700k and an average loan size of £320k.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide mortgage and protection advice to clients.
  • Receive 8-10 new mortgage appointments per week.
  • Have unlimited and unrestricted access to the existing client database.
  • Offer a remortgage service.
  • Work closely with the team to refer clients and leads.
  • Be proactive and don't mind contacting the existing client database.

Skills and Experience:

  • Fully CeMAP qualified.
  • Good working knowledge of mortgages and the associated protection policies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and self-motivated
