Mortgage Advisor
This role is with a modern financial services organisation with a growing national presence due to its digitisation strategy. Based within the head office where there is a warm, friendly, open, and fun culture, the role will involve conducting new business/ retention advised sales interviews for mortgages and associated products and services. This role is offered on a hybrid working basis.
Responsibilities of the Mortgage Advisor
- Giving fair mortgage advice to customers
- To attend regular CPD sessions, keeping updated on criteria changes, U/W changes
- Full adherence to the T&C scheme, with feedback given form the T&C supervisor
- Holding mortgage appointments in line with MCOB regulations
- Sound understanding of the mortgage criteria and effective use of the referral system
- Contact borrowers towards expiry of their incentive/ maturing period to advise of alternative products and endeavour to sell additional products.
- To undertake new business/retention advised sales interviews for mortgages and associated products and services.
- To maintain a focus on building the brand and maintain a thorough working knowledge of Society mortgage lending policy and regulatory requirements.
Requirements of the Mortgage Advisor
- CeMap qualified 1, 2 and 3
- Experience of providing residential mortgage advice
