Automotive MOT Tester -Hampshire

Salary: Basic £38,000 - £40,000 plus an opportunity of overtime.

Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday

Holidays: 22 days paid holiday in addition to all bank holidays.
Overtime: Opportunity of overtime.
Pension: Company workplace Pension Scheme

Our client is seeking a fully trained MOT Tester to join their already successful motor trade team working within a busy main dealer. You need to be a team player, able to work to deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative.

MOT Tester Responsibilities:

  • MOT testing of vehicles
  • Carry out basic repairs (and within standard times) economically and efficiently
  • Complete work to a high standard, adhere to manufacturer procedures and processes and demonstrate high attention to detail at all times


The Ideal MOT Tester:

  • Be an experienced MOT Tester
  • Possess a natural aptitude for mechanical diagnosis and repair
  • Demonstrate a solid career history from within the automotive industry
  • Good Technical knowledge
  • Must have a Driving License
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Have a VOSA Smart Card

You must be able to produce high quality work in a busy motor trade environment and be motivated through set targets, showing flexibility according to the needs of your team
